Marco Rubio Slams Lilly Ledbetter Act, Says It Helps "Trial Lawyers Collect Their Fees"

Marco Rubio went on ABC's This Week with George Stephanopoulos on Sunday, and did that thing that GOPers do when they don't like what Obama did, but instead of offering their own solution, they just bitch and whine and say dumb things.

This time around, Charisma Boy! decided the best way to defend Mitt Romney's opposition/non-opposition of the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act was to say it's really just all about the lawyers doing evil lawyery things.

"Just because they call a piece of legislation an equal pay bill doesn't make it so," Rubio said. "In fact, much of this legislation is, in many respects, nothing but an effort to help trial lawyers collect their fees and file lawsuits, which may not contribute at all whatsoever to increasing pay equity in the workplace."

That is to say, Mitt Romney was against it back when it was first signed into law, but now he's totally for it, errr... well, he wouldn't repeal it if elected, it's just that... lookit, this legislation is all about the lawyers collecting their fees, ok?!

Marco Rubio Gets After Joe Biden's Latest Gaffe

Categories: Oh Marco

Crazy Uncle Joe was campaigning in Charlotte on Tuesday and did that thing where he said stuff that makes Democrats smack themselves on the forehead.

Speaking of Mitt Romney and how he and Paul Ryan would raise taxes on the middle class, Biden said, "How they can justify... raising taxes on the middle class that has been buried the last four years?"

And so, this morning, the GOPers are all over that sentence like hyenas on a zebra carcass.

This morning, CHARISMA-BOY, Marco Rubio sent out a news release about a news conference where he was gonna go all, "Even Joe Biden thinks Obama sucks! Whut-whuuutt!!"

Marco Rubio Takes to Twitter to Go Off on American Airlines

Categories: Oh Marco
rubio troll so hard.jpg

Marco Rubio was apparently trying to get to Washington on Friday night for some official Senate business when his American Airlines flight was delayed.

So, like most of us might do, Marco took to Twitter to voice his displeasure toward the airline.

And by "voice his displeasure toward the airline," we mean MARCO TROLL SO HARD.

See the tweets after the jump, where we also offer an inside look on what might've been going on in the senator's mind as he tweeted out his frustrations.

Marco Rubio Says Obama's Agenda Is Redistribution

Categories: Oh Marco
rubio debate.jpg

As we mentioned yesterday, Mittington Mittbot's crack team went into damage control over his now infamous "47 percent" remarks by not only releasing a 14-year-old tape that apparently shows Barack Obama wearing a Che T-shirt and saying that the government should send everyone a check for $1 million talking about redistribution.

They also turned on the RUBIOSIGNAL, calling on Charisma Boy to save the day in a conference call with reporters.

And there he was, clad in his red, white, and blue tights and cowl, standing majestically with his gloved fists of justice at his hips in the moonlight, looking down on the redistribution evildoers. He swiftly reached into his utility belt, grasped a pellet, and threw it down. Plastic shattered everywhere as a pillar of smoke rose into the air, confusing the evil reporters. Charisma Boy then thrust a leg into one of them directly under the chin. POW! He then spun and karate-chopped another in the throat. WHAM!

"Redistribute this!" he exclaimed as he punched another in the clavicle.

The GOP is in full AH CRAP THE CAMPAIGN IS ON FIRE! FIX IT! FIX! OHHH THE HUMANITY!! mode and is sending in their golden boy to right the ship.

No, not that golden boy.

This one!

Your very own Sen. Marco Rubio is heading a conference call today at 4 p.m. to talk about that video of then-state-Sen. Barack Obama that recently surfaced where he talks about redistribution and something something something NAZICOMMUNIST!

It's all part of the Republican plan to shift attention off of Mitt Romney pointing at poor people and sneering at their poorness and get people to notice a bland video of Obama that was made 14 years ago.

And an excellent plan it is!

Marco Rubio appeared on the Daily Show With Jon Stewart last night, on same the night that the rest of the GOP got together up in Tampa to hear Chris Cristie talk about himself while others threw peanuts at an African-American woman while saying, "This is how we feed the animals."

Stewart told Rubio that he should quit the Senate and run for governor of Florida in 2016.

"You should take over for Rick Scott," Stewart said. "Florida deserves a governor with hair!"

Rubio kept repeating "He's doing a great job."

Marco Rubio was giving a speech to the Florida delegation at the Innisbrook Resort in Tampa today, when he was interrupted several times by members of Stand Up Florida. Among them was also former Lake Worth City Commissioner Cara Jennings, who's made it a regular practice to protest Allen West's speeches.

Pinellas County Sheriff deputies escorted the protesters out and gave them a trespassing warning.

For his part, Sen. Rubio played it off with jokes.

You so smooth, Rubio.

Marco Rubio Will Introduce Mitt Romney at RNC

He wasn't picked to be Mitt Romney's running mate, but that doesn't mean Marco Rubio can't do his part, damn it. Rubio will be introducing Romney on the final day of the Republican National Convention in Tampa on August 30.

Because Republicans and tea partiers love a good latherin' up via charismatic and vapid speakers, Mitt is hoping Rubio will give him a much-needed boost in a must-win state THROUGH THE MAGIC OF TALKING.
