Boca Man Arrested for Trolling BoyAhoy in Search of Minors to Diddle

On Tuesday, the Department of Justice announced the arrest of John Michael Romero Mendoza, a 26-year-old Boca Raton resident who was allegedly trolling the iPhone app BoyAhoy in search of teenaged boys to have sex with.

For those not in the know, BoyAhoy is the self-proclaimed "fastest growing gay dating app" that provides the "hottest, newest, and most fun way of meeting singles mobilely."

As should be expected, the affidavit for this arrest is chock full of internet creepiness, including a "dark and out of focus" picture of a finger meant to look like a penis.

Everybody had a good, amused chuckle when the Florida Legislature finally passed that antibestiality law last year -- "Oh, Florida," everybody said, figuring the thing would get relegated to cheesy lists of weird laws, in between the one about washing your house on Tuesday afternoons and the one about eating pickles in church.

But now 28-year-old Fort Lauderdale man Jenson Bolla-Sosa is facing charges under that new law after witnesses reported seeing him having sex with a dog, according to police.

Florida Bar Slammed With Discrimination Lawsuit

Lawyers gone wild? Sadly, no beads or toplessness here.
Good news for Kafka fans: Turns out, the group of lawyers charged with policing the rest of Florida's 90,000 lawyers can get sued (by even more lawyers), just like the rest of us.

William Luongo, a local accountant formerly employed by the Florida Bar, claims that the organization harassed and ultimately fired him -- because of his diagnosed depression and anxiety.

Luongo, who worked for 14 years as a forensic auditor for the bar, says his boss found disease-related reasons to criticize his work, according to a lawsuit recently filed in the Broward County Civil Court.

Plastic Surgeon Plans on Fighting Disfigurement Claim

This photo, which is not of Perrins-Whittaker, is an example of keloid scars.
The Pulp has been following the case of a Broward woman who says that a cosmetic procedure destroyed her face and neck with keloids and that her surgeon didn't tell her about scarring risks beforehand.

Now, Enid Perrins-Whittaker's surgeon, Dr. Juan Felipe Garcia, has joined Lifestyle Lift in responding to the lawsuit through his lawyer, Tallahassee-based Craig Dennis.

Dennis says that privacy laws bar him from commenting on the specifics of the case but says that his client has done no wrong.

"For a variety of reasons, not the least of which is [legal] concerns, I'm not permitted to even acknowledge whether she has been or ever was a patient of Dr. Garcia," he says.

Child rapist Marcelo Riveros
Marcelo Riveros -- a Palm Beach man convicted of raping a young girl "a lot" over several years -- was sentenced yesterday to life in prison, plus an extra 25 years just in case.

Riveros, 41, was arrested in March 2009 after the girl and her mother went to the cops to tell them about the abuse, which the girl said started when she was as young as 8 years old.

He was found guilty of capital sexual battery on a person less than 12 years of age, two counts of lewd and lascivious molestation, and one count of sexual activity with a child, according to a news release from the State Attorney's Office.
