University of Miami To File Motion to Dismiss NCAA Case

It looks like the University of Miami has enough already with the NCAA's shenanigans and will be formally filing a motion to have the NCAA's case against them dismissed.

According to CBS.com, the motion will account for "recent revelations that the use of attorney Maria Elena Perez was beyond the scope of an external review commissioned by NCAA president Mark Emmert."

In what has become the perfect storm of face-smashing dunks, fearsome jumpers, and all-around hardwood awesomeness, Florida is right now, officially, the mecca of basketball.

Thanks to the Miami Heat, the Miami Hurricanes men's basketball team, and the rise of the mightiest of underdogs in Florida Gulf Coast University, all the world has its eyes on a place that has historically been known as a football state.

Also, Jim Larranaga dancing is probably the greatest thing ever.

Miami Hurricane point guard Shane Larkin is having himself a breakout season. And as a result, the Canes are on the basketball map for the first time ever.

Larkin is averaging 13.7 points and 4.4 assists for the Canes Men Hoops Kickass Brigade and has the team poised for a serious run at the top of the March Madness Mountain, where only the likes of Blue Devils, Tar Heels, and Wildcats are allowed to roam.
