Police were called around 1 in the morning today in Daytona Beach by an (as of yet) unidentified father. He was calling to report 18-year-old Raymond Frolander, who lay unconscious on the floor with both eyes nearly closed shut from a beating, his cheeks swollen like a blowfish.

The father, according to documents obtained by the Daytona Beach News-Journal, walked in on Frolander allegedly sexually battering his son.

The age of the boy has also not been released, but the News-Journal reported that Frolander was charged with sexual battery on a victim under 12. The paper also detailed what happened in the house that left Frolander alone with the young boy.

The child told investigators that he was playing video games with friends but after the friends left, Frolander asked the boy to sit in his lap and then took him to a back room, the report said.

Frolander then pulled the boy's pants down and started sexually battering him, the boy told police, adding that Frolander had been abusing him since he was 8 years old, investigators said.

When the 35-year-old father called dispatchers, this is what he said, according to the News-Journal:

"I didn't proceed to ask him any questions sir," the father said. "He is nice and knocked out on the floor for you. I drug him out to the living room."

Asked if any weapons were involved, the father said "my foot and my fist."

For now, Frolander is being held without bail in the Volusia County Branch Jail. But according to the arrest affidavit, he was asked by police whether he had sexually battered the child. "I'm guilty," he responded.

Whilst the exacting of violence on what could be argued to be a life threatening instance or not is debatable, cops have remained steadfast that the father was only acting like a father when he came to ‘address Raymond Frolander.’

Whilst we can all agree that the child was heinously violated should we also wonder if Frolander's right's were perjured given the vicious beating he came to receive. It is one thing to protect oneself or someone against imminent violence but an all together different thing to go about exacting retribution and being the judge and jury at the same time....

Of note the father has now set up a charity page asking for $100k….

Start working at home with Google! It's by-far the best job I've had. Last Wednesday I got a brand new BMW since getting a check for $6474 this - 4 weeks past. I began this 8-months ago and immediately was bringing home at least $77 per hour. I work through this link, go to tech tab for work detail

@commenter8 Oh, that was not a crime.  Heat of passion beat downs like this are commonly accepted by the court as forgivable.

The father did his job that day.
