The same Palm Beach County elementary school that was put on lockdown several months ago because of a bobcat wandering the premises, was put on lockdown Monday morning due to a suspicious package.

Turns out, the package was a box of books.

Grove Park Elementary School, located at 8330 N. Military Trail, was evacuated after a package was discovered on the south side of the school's campus near the bus loop, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.

After the package was discovered, around 8 a.m. Monday, school officials moved students to the north side of the campus as a PBSO bomb squad was called in to investigate.

But shortly before noon, the PBSO announced that the package was safe, once it determined that it was a box filled with Spanish textbooks.

"All the students are safe," Palm Beach County School District spokesman Owen Torres told the Palm Beach Post. He added that the school remained under yellow alert, meaning that a lockdown was still in progress at the time.

But shortly after that announcement, the lockdown was lifted and classes and normal operations at the school resumed.

The reason the package raised alarms, authorities say, was because it was left in such a random place on campus. The package's wrapping also lacked any shipping labels.

Back in September, Grove Park Elementary School was placed on lockdown after someone spotted a wild bobcat on campus.

The animal was eventually found and captured not too far from the school.
