A preliminary result of Ryan Uhre's autopsy indicates that his death was accidental.

According to the Leon County Medical Examiner, Uhre's death may have been the result of him falling from the second story of the building where his body was discovered last week.

Uhre's body was found on the roof of a building on College Avenue in Tallahassee Tuesday morning.

According to these preliminary results, which were released by the Tallahassee Police Department Monday morning, it appears that Uhre, 23, fell through the window on the second story and was killed from injuries sustained from the fall.

Uhre reportedly was hanging out at Andrews Bar and Grill in the 100 block of College Avenue in Tallahassee on Super Bowl Sunday on February 2.

The bar is two blocks away from his fraternity house, Alpha Delta Phi, on College Avenue. He then reportedly left the bar alone and was spotted by surveillance cameras in an alley down the street.

Surveillance cameras spotted Uhre either walking into, or out of the alley. He had been reported missing by his friends and family, which prompted a two-week search for him.

Last Tuesday morning, Tallahassee police were called about a crime scene on the upper floor of a building, above a hair salon. Police soon confirmed that the body was Uhre's, a Weston native and wrestler at St. Thomas Aquinas.

Over the weekend, friends and family held a memorial service for Uhre in Davie.

Toxicology reports are still pending, and police have not yet said if the FSU student was alone when he died.

I'm sure glad that crack reporter Norman Kent brought in the gay aspect to this story.  Sure helped clear things up.  Jerk.
