With Willie Nelson, and Heart, and the Barenaked Ladies, and the Beach Boys, and Pat Benatar, and Trisha Yearwood, and Cheap Trick, and .38 Special, and Martina McBride and REO Speedwagon canceling their gigs at SeaWorld's Bands, Brew & BBQ this year, the water park has now turned their hopes to Kid Rock and Alan Jackson to fill the empty slots.

The artists and musicians who were scheduled to perform have been bailing on SeaWorld left and right ever since several Change.org petitions were launched in response to the documentary, Blackfish.

And now that Rock and Jackson are set to hit the stage, more petitions have been launched to get them to cancel.

The petitions calling for artists to cancel on SeaWorld have been popping up on Change.org by the bucketful.

And now, at least three more petitions directed at Rock and Jackson have made the list.

The folks at the Oceanic Preservation Society have also called on their Facebook followers to hit up Rock and Jackson on their Twitter feeds.

OPS also linked to another petition calling on Rock and Jackson to cancel that has picked up steam.

Back in December, SeaWorld released a statement calling the petitions "digital harassment."

"This is a coordinated campaign of digital harassment and does not in any sense represent the opinions of the American public," the statement read. "A far better measure is the number of people actually coming to SeaWorld."

Before the "digital harassment" statement was released, SeaWorld had been saying that they respect the artists' decision to cancel but expressed disappointment that they would be influenced to do so by "animal extremist groups."

"The bands and artists have a standing invitation to visit any of our parks to see firsthand or to speak to any of our animal experts to learn for themselves how we care for animals and how little truth there is to the allegations made by animal extremist groups opposed to the zoological display of marine mammals," an earlier statement said.

They then put forth a full-on PR campaign to combat the bad press Blackfish and the protests had brought down on them.

Part of that campaign was an "The Truth About Blackfish" page on the park's website, where it combats the allegations made by the film with bullet points.

After that, OPS followed with an open challenge to SeaWorld to have a debate on the issues.

SeaWorld has yet to take up the challenge.
