FAU Professor James Tracy Implies Navy Yard Shooting Was Faked

Trust no one.
Publicly funded FAU professor of communications James Tracy is little more than humanoid-shaped automaton programmed to peddle sophistry at times of national mourning and fitted with tousled brown hair.

He has exactly one idea. Sometimes he changes proper nouns -- for the purposes, likely, that a new a headline can be written -- but then he quickly slams home The James Tracy Thought.

And indeed, The Only James Tracy Thought That Exists ran on schedule following the Navy Yard shooting that killed 12 people last month in Washington, D.C.

But this time, he doesn't just come out and say it. No, reader, he lays bare all of the evidence for our scrutinous eyes so that we too can soundly reason that it was a hoax.

Take a look:

Hmmmm??? says the Tracy. Any cynic dabbling in the rudiments of logic would come to the same conclusion after viewing this photograph. It's clear that the cops are more concerned with sectioning off the crime scene than with tending to the injured. Which can only mean One Thing. It's a sham!

Next, says Tracy, is the fact that if the situation was so hectic, so chaotic, so unfathomably horrific, why were these paramedics apparently so bored?

IT'S BECAUSE THEY KNEW IT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN ALL ALONG.

So, all in all, the facts speak for themselves. When you pick singular images from a constantly streaming deluge of pictures and headlines, you can make anything -- anything at all -- seem fraudulent.

(There is no government shutdown. It's just what they want you to think.)

One more thing: James Tracy gets paid more than $60,000 per year in public money for being so smart.

He is a conspiracy theorist, the worst sort of person to have teaching anything.

What a massive douche bag.  How is he allowed to teach anything?

I've said this elsewhere, but I'll repeat it here, in direct response to the article.

Please do that. I don't see one source (or even a hyperlink) in this article. This is part of the reason journalism is dead.

And you continue to feed his ego by giving him publicity.  Congrats, you're trolled but good.

Your biased and opinionated stories are really getting beyond fathomable. He has a right to his opinion. And he is teaching students to see past the proposed and stated view and form their own opinions.

@RAP53 No matter. He's nuts no matter what party. Well, maybe not Asshole Allen West and his teabag troglodyte followers.

@smdrpepper Just for shits and giggles;

what about Lee Harvey Oswald, lone crazed gunman. True or false?

What about Sirhan B. Sirhan, lone crazed gunman. True or false?

what about James Earl Ray, lone crazed gunman. True or false?

Just asking.

@kyonpalm You've done it, Kyonpalm! You've solved the reason journalism is dying! Hyperlinks. Silly me, it's not that Craigslist has gutted the classified sections. Nor is that advertisers aren't as willing to take out ads. Nor is it even the fact that journalists work very long hours for little pay in an incredibly competitive environment and have to stomach trollers like you on a daily basis.

Nope! It's hyperlinks.

So here you go, you strange-looking eyeball wearing a hat, an image that I'm sure endows all of your comments with legitimacy, here's your link.

"

I said, specifically, "[not] one source (or even a hyperlink)". That is to suggest that even a hyperlink would have been better than no source at all, bearing in mind that it is generally still not a replacement.

"
Nor is it even the fact that journalists work very long hours for little pay in an incredibly competitive environment and have to stomach trollers like you on a daily basis." <-- This has been the case for many independent journalists since the dawn of journalism. That never stopped them from providing sources - arguably the most important part of a written article, as they back up the claims the author makes.

"
So here you go, you strange-looking eyeball wearing a hat ..." <-- I'm sorry you don't know who The Residents are.

The link you give me that follows should have been included in the article to begin with. That was the main source for this article, so if nothing else, that should have been linked to somewhere or given direct reference at the end of the article.

Defending your exclusion of one of the most important parts of an article doesn't make you look better. Just acknowledge it and move on. I wouldn't have had to lay into your reply if you didn't have so much snark and actually took responsibility. At least you gave the source when I (indirectly) asked you to instead of JUST making a smart-aleck reply.
