Allen West, Debbie Wasserman Schultz Senate Showdown Is All Tied Up, According to Poll

A 2016 Florida Senate race between Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz and former Rep. Allen West would be like the Super Bowl, Yankees vs. Red Sox, Godzilla vs. Mothra, Rocky vs. Clubber Lang, the Beatles vs. Rolling Stones, and Wrestlemania all rolled into one.

Political junkies and douchey news bloggers collective heads would explode at the very idea of such a race.

And now a new poll justifies how epic a showdown that would be.

Public Policy Polling Survey has the (for the moment) fake race at a dead-heat as of this week.

The poll says a hypothetical race between Wasserman Schultz and West would be at a statistical tie, if it were being held today.

Wasserman Schultz would get 44 percent of the vote, while West would get 40 percent.

The race would be American politics at its worst, but entertainment at its best (imagine the .Gifs from their debates!).

Wasserman Schultz and West have no love lost between them, and famously traded ugly and angry barbs through the media when West was still a Rep. in Florida.

West even called Wasserman Schultz "vile," and "not a lady," at one point.

Wasserman Schultz campaigned against West in 2010, and again in 2012.

West lost to Patrick Murphy in 2012, who got a big boost from Debbie's campaigning.

Allen West has already announced that, should Marco Rubio run for President in 2016, and thus vacate his Senate seat, that West would run for the Senate in Florida.

Wasserman Schultz, who is currently the chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, has not said whether she'd run or not.

What worries me is there is anyone out there who would vote for another extremist such as the criminal West, when it is thanks to people just like him we find ourselves in the mess we are in now.

@smdrpepper We already have seen people like Asshole Allen voting. They elected him the first time.  And guess what, they are getting ready to re-elect the Tallahassee criminal that only took the fifth 75 times. Hey, this is FloriDUH.
