Neil Combee, Florida State Rep, Suggests White House Was Behind Syrian Chemical Attack

Retweeting against the New World Order.
Look, it's always funny to see some backwoods Florida legislator publicly torch his or her credibility with an off-handed, unscripted remark. But then there are comments that are just whack, James Tracy-ish bullsh*t. State Rep Neil Combee stepped up to the plate and delivered the latter on Twitter yesterday

The Polk City Republican tweeted out an article yesterday suggesting the White House may have been involved with the Syrian chemical weapons attacks that have killed almost 1,500 people. Classy.

The article Combee links to is a long one from the Centre for Research on Globalization, a Canadian "think tank" and "major news source on the New World Order and Washington's 'war on terrorism.'" (Oh, and also a platform that publishes noted crankologist and master of sensationalized self-promotion James Tracy). The argument here makes some pretty large leaps of logic about how U.S.-backed rebel groups in Syria were ramping up their attack efforts because they had a tip-off the U.S. would soon get involved. You can check out the details for yourself.

But let's all keep in mind that a public official who buys his groceries with our tax money is hunting through Canadian New World Order conspiracy sites for the real skinny on the Obama administration.

Luckily, Combee didn't get away with this shit for long. Fellow Florida Rep Alan Williams blasted back at Combee, and the two fenced a little over the issue. Combee got a little snippy about the whole thing.

Malarky is one word for comments like this. We can think of a bunch of others.

Speaking of Tracy, South Florida's favorite crank: He's also got some questions about the Syrian chemical attacks.

well we've hired militants to war with soviets (who later became al-qaeda), we secretly overthrew a democratically elected iranian leader due to oil nationilzation in '53 and denied it for years (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=80zQ796hvqk) but of course, we wouldn't help the rebels (a.k.a. al-nusra front) pin a chemical attack on assad to justify US intervention, that's just crazy talk! right? US General Wesley Clark warned us of intentional war with syria back in 2003. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RC1Mepk_Sw Whether you want to believe or not, this has been standard operating procedure for years and its SICK.

OMG is the guy real?  Will someone please ask him how many fingers and toes he has.......well on second thought maybe just on one hand, we don't want to tax his brain too much!

Congratulations Polk county residents for sending this dumbo to represent you in Tallahassee, but alas he joins numerous other right winger members who simply HATE the President.  These nuts will condemn ANYTHING the President supports and support ANYTHING the President opposes.

Why......as I've so often heard these type folks say....."there just something about Obama I don't like".......three guesses what that could be!  I'll bet even Rep. Combee could answer that one if he had the guts to give an honest answer!

Well, there were idiot Truthers who believed Bush was behind September 11th, so now we have idiot Gassers who believe Obama was behind the nerve gas attack.

At least one Gasser, anyway.  Dumbass.

This is about the most idiotic, stupid accusation that any politician could make! Where was he when the brains were passed out? Behind the door? Those Right-Wing, Nazi-thinking, extremists,  must be scraping the bottom of the barrel to come up with such a ludicrous, nutty statement!!!!!

At his age I'm sure every time Combee passes wind it can be considered a chemical attack.

The right wing extremists are not happy unless they are creating conspiracy theories.
