Looks like the "George Zimmerman threatening his wife with a gun" saga is not yet over, even though his bro Robert has said this to be the case on the Twitter.

Apparently, George smashed an iPad that had supposedly captured video of Monday's dispute between he and wife Shellie.

Lake Mary police are said to be examining the iPad for evidence.

Both Shellie and her father claimed that Zimmerman had threatened them with his gun and that he had assaulted his father-in-law.

But neither Shellie nor her father decided to press charges, which meant George got to walk (something he knows all about!)

His brother, Robert Zimmerman, was quick to get on Twitter and disparage the evil, no-good, rotten media for jumping to conclusions because the media ain't your friend!

Ehhh, but not so fast.

Lake Mary police spokesman Zach Hudson says the smashed iPad is going to be examined in a crime lab.

"The iPad video is going to be paramount in this case," he said.

"As of right now, it could be either one or it could be no one," Hudson said when asked if there could still be charges filed from the incident. "It depends what that iPad has on it, what that footage shows."

Shortly before 3 p.m. Monday, Shellie Zimmerman called 911 and told the dispatcher that George had shown up to her father's home and that an altercation soon followed. She said he punched her father. She also said George was threatening them with his gun.

"He's in his car, and he continually has his hand on his gun and keeps saying, 'Step closer,'" Shellie told the dispatcher. "He's just threatening all of us.

"I don't know what he's capable of," she added. "I'm really scared."

Police say George told them Shellie and her father were the aggressors in the altercation.

Zimmerman's attorney, Mark O'Mara, told reporters that his client was the only one who lived in the home and that, even though the house is under his in-law's name, he and Shellie were the only ones living there.

Shellie recently filed for divorce from George. She also claims that she and George had a big fight on the night he shot and killed Trayvon Martin.

O'Mara told reporters on Monday that George did have his gun during his altercation with Shellie but that it was holstered under his shirt and that he never took it out.
