Boynton Beach Police Looking For $3 Million Jewel Heist Thieves

Boynton Beach police have released surveillance video of two unidentified men who allegedly broke into a home and robbed around $3 million worth in jewelry.

On July 2, a silver four-door sedan pulled up to a home, and one of the men jumped out and rang the doorbell.

Later, the video shows the other man rummaging through drawers inside a walk-in closet in the home.

The man finds jewelry and watch cases inside one of the drawers, and swipes the merchandise.

The man then runs off with the score (and scares off a poor little dog in the process) before returning with a sack, or pillowcase, to rob more valuables.

For now, cops are not releasing the homeowner's names, or the location of the crime, since it's still under investigation.

But they hope the home's video surveillance helps in their case, if someone out there happens to recognize either of the men.

Cty police spokesman Stephanie Slater released a statement along with the video.

"Years and years of sentimental, collectable pieces were stolen. We are urging anyone who may have information about the suspects to please come forward and help police."

Police are asking anyone with information on this crime to call Det. Jill Raftery at 561-742-6148 or Crime Stoppers of Palm Beach County at 800-458-TIPS.

The department and Crime Stoppers are offering a $26,000 reward for anyone with information that leads to the men's arrest.

Beautiful closet. But agreed with the low ball figure for a reward.
