George Zimmerman "got away with murder," Juror B29 told Good Morning America's Robin Roberts in an interview Thursday.

The juror, who goes by the name Maddy, was the only minority among the six all-female jurors who acquitted Zimmerman for killing Trayvon Martin.

Maddy tells Roberts that she feels she owes an apology to Martin's parents.

Maddy, a 36-year-old Puerto Rican nursing assistant and mother of eight children, said she was leaning toward convicting Zimmerman.

Before it deliberated, the jury was told by the judge that it could consider a lesser charge against him, such as manslaughter.

"I was the juror that was going to give them the hung jury. I fought to the end," Maddy says in the interview.

But Maddy says there simply wasn't enough proof to convict Zimmerman of murder or manslaughter under Florida law.

Even so, she thinks Zimmerman got away with it.

"George Zimmerman got away with murder, but you can't get away from God. And at the end of the day, he's going to have a lot of questions and answers he has to deal with," Maddy said. "[But] the law couldn't prove it."

Maddy has since done some soul-searching, wondering if she did the right thing.

"I felt like I let a lot of people down, and I'm thinking to myself, 'Did I go the right way? Did I go the wrong way?'" she said.

Roberts' interview with Maddy will air tonight on World News at 6:30 and on Nightline at 12:35 a.m. and then on Friday on Good Morning America at 7 a.m.

The whole story is just sad and it makes one wonder if the fix was in from the start.  Dont forget, his dad is very connected.

It still shocks me that someone can stalk and murder someone and get away with it.

This is a shining example of the standard jury pool.

You have to LISTEN to what she said. She said that according to the LAW he is not guilty, but according to her HEART he is guilty.

Little late now wouldn't you say. Not enough evidence = reasonable doubt = Not guilty. You did fine Juror B29.
