Chris Bosh Selected As All-Star Starter

The NBA All-Star game is about to get really dinosaury, because Erik Spoelstra has chosen Chris Bosh to start for the Eastern Conference All-Star squad.

With Boston's Rajon Rondo being out with an injury, a fifth and final slot was open. Debate immediately began on who Spoelstra should start in Rondo's place -- from Cleveland's Kyrie Irving, to the Celtics' Kevin Garnett, to Bosh.

But Spoelstra, because he can do whatever the shit he wants now that he's not only the defending NBA champion head coach, but also the head coach for the Eastern Conference All-Stars, he went with his guy.

So the Cavaliers and Celtics can continue to suck it.

Bosh will join Heat teammates LeBron James, and Dwyane Wade for the starting squad, which means the Eastern All-Star team will pretty much be the Miami Heat.

And while some will surely bitch about his selection, Bosh has been playing out of his mind as of late, so it's well deserved. But his basketball goodness has been severely upstaged by LeBron James' exploits into feats of awesomeness.

Bosh's only previous All Star start came in the 2007 All-Star game.

The All-Star Game will be played on Sunday night at 8:00 p.m. and can be seen on TNT.
