James Tracy Says FAU Has Opened Investigation on Him

James Tracy, the tenured Florida Atlantic University professor who espoused conspiracy theories regarding Sandy Hook, says FAU has opened an investigation on him and wants to meet with him next week.

According to the school's student magazine, University Press, Tracy believes the university is feeling pressure from its donors.

Tracy, who has remained defiant under media scrutiny over his comments, still clings to his right to free speech as a reason why FAU would be a bad school if it were to fire him.

"They're getting people calling them saying that this person shouldn't be teaching, he's an awful person, and what have you," Tracy told University Press.

"I don't know what there's going to be. I don't know if that would involve stripping me of my tenure and dismissing me or what. That's something that's ultimately for them to decide."

Tracy received national attention when he wrote a series of posts on his blog suggesting there might be more to the Sandy Hook massacre that the mainstream media was reporting.

"While it sounds like an outrageous claim," one of his posts says, "one is left to inquire whether the Sandy Hook shootings ever took place -- at least in the way law enforcement authorities and the nation's news media have described."

Many of his students have come to his defense, citing Tracy as a professor who helped open their eyes and minds. They also refer to him as something of a free-thinker, someone unafraid to ask questions and probe for the truth (something we took the liberty in blowing up).

For their part, FAU has not commented on the investigation, only telling University Press that it's a "personnel matter."

Now Tracy is not sure of his job status at the university.

"If they intend to fire me, ultimately, how good of an institution is it?" he says. "If they're not going to stand up for free speech and ideas and things of the like, then I'm not too sure I want to be here either."

Assuming James Tracy represents Florida Atlantic University's intellectual vanguard, the school should have its accreditation revoked and shut down.  FAU is a fake university.

Fire him. Now. Not for his opinions and bizarre theories, obviously, but a guy dumb enough to believe in a Sandy Hook set up has no business teaching at a university.

Its pretty pathetic that we live in a society that cries foul on asking questions. Im sorry if Im not like the rest of these media trained barking seals below me who treat everything the media says as the gospel.

I actually had him as a professor not too long ago and can honestly say he is hands down one of the most knowledgeable individuals on the subject of conspiracy. As an individual who has dabbled for some years in objective conspiracy research, I can honestly I dont know many people in real life or otherwise (with the exception of renowned conspiracy researchers Jack Bratich, Jim Mars, Mark Fenster etc) that rival his knowledge. He supported and challenged many theories in a VERY objective fashion as he would often look at both sides and examine why it is plausible that some corrupt occurrence was taking place, or on the flipside why certain incidents actually are what they appear at first glance.

That being said, I did not agree with everything he believed and he always encouraged us to do our own research. He rarely ever shared his personal opinions on a story unless he honestly believed it and when he did share, the sheer amount of attribution he gave almost made you want to believe him on the spot. I always went and researched anyway as it is in my nature, however I guarantee you that the same people chastising him here or elsewhere on the internet (those who arent paid trolls that is) are probably the same people who would've probably sat in the back of his class and believed every single thing he said or every documentary we viewed, because as the mainstream media has now revealed about them, being sheep is in their nature.

Admittedly, my own disbelief of Professor Tracy's theory is based quite simply on a whim. I personally just do not believe the government is capable of staging a hoax event in an actual school here in the states. I mean, isnt that easily verifyable? Yeah the media can cover it up this and that, but arent there plenty that live in the area? Plenty that know the faculty or the kids? Many survived as well? How could they ever keep tabs on that many people to keep them quiet? They didnt make the school up so these survivors are real as well. I just dont see it.

However, these opinions are Tracy's and his alone. What do you people think that the 1st amendment was put in place so that we could talk about the weather? Controversial statements such as these ARE in fact protected whether or not they are deemed offensive. I of course understand the outrage of anyone who did in fact lose a loved one. If it were me, I'd be pissed to high heII. But at the end of the day, if he wants to question the intricacies of the event, I say LET HIM. God knows CNN, FOX and MSNBC aint doing that for us. Or do some of you fools still believe these stations are completely independent of the government? Question: How many of you ACTUALLY watched the full video on his thoughts and read the articles on his blog before you came here talking garbage?

Lol I dont know what it will take but I hope one day in my lifetime you people will learn. See how you sit here and allow the government to strip us of our rights one by one while we fight amongst ourselves? And you think this is a joke? That questioning the government makes an individual a nut? You're all in for a very rude awakening.

If it makes you all feel better, stay in Wonderland and keep dreaming. We'll all die eventually anyway right?

Man, you see this stuff happen all the time in the news and it's really easy to judge when you're an outsider looking in and you dont know the full truth. Im guilty of that. But man, when this stuff hits close to home....really shows you how distant and out of touch humanity is with itself. When you really let that marinate, it's very unsettling.

Wishing Professor Tracy the best.

Just another mentally ill paranoid. This man should not have guns, or be in a teaching position.

Baaah baaah goes the sheep.

All kidding aside, to be completely honest, Chaz. I'm just surprised you were actually able to type that response out with your hands so sticky from the paste you eat all day.
