Rick Scott's Approval Ratings Are "Just Plain Awful"

Categories: Great Scott!

It's official. Everyone pretty much thinks Rick Scott is crappy at his job.

That, according to a new Quinnipiac poll that has a large number of people saying Governor Voldemort doesn't deserve a second term.

(And that number includes GOPers!)

Rick Scott has feverishly been trying to make people forget about Rick Scott by changing his mind about a few things he had strong convictions about until he realized it makes him a terrible governor and that people hate him for it.

Need moar black magic wizardry to change people's minds!

While Republicans give Scott a positive 63-19 approval rating, 53-30 percent say they'd like to see another candidate challenge Gov. McCreepyPants in a primary.

The Quinnipiac poll, which surveyed 1,261 Floridian voters over the phone between December 11 and 17, with a 2.8 percent margin of error, has more than half of those voters saying Scott doesn't deserve a second term.

BUT HE WANTS TO ADD EARLY VOTING DAYS NOW, YOU GUYS.

"Gov. Rick Scott's ratings with voters are just plain awful," said Peter A. Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute. "The numbers cannot be sugar-coated."

The poll also says that Charlie Crist and Alex Sink are the best candidates to put up against Scott in 2014. Both Crist and Sink have a higher favorability rating than The Rick.

"When voters in a politician's own party want him to be challenged in a primary by another candidate, it's difficult to see it as anything but outright rejection," Brown added.

Scott, who has already raised $5 million in reelection money, does have some good news. His approval rating is up from 2011.

Which pretty much means Scott's approval ratings improved from abysmal to awful.

the worse case senerio is he loses the governors race AND his previous entity which has recently over-borrowed to pay a financed dividend to its owners, who, if they continue to squeeze it, may drive it into bankruptcy - and then out will fall all of CEO scott's misdealings and financial transactions including a potential for medicare fraud on the mis-coding of hospital services billings for the last decade, or more - a federal prosecutor could really make a name for him/her self by jailing a "former governor" scott = so there is HOPE that his day will come soon

Someone must love him if they are pissing away $5 million for his re-election.  Maybe one of the Kock Bros?

According to a new Quinnipiac poll, a large number of people say Governor Voldemort doesn't deserve a second term.  He really does not even need to complete his first term!  Lets have an early election and dump the garbage!

@ElGuapo This is a great idea! I think Charlie Crist & Alex Sink should/could immediately take over & turn things around - fast! They could decide which roles they wanted: Gov, Lt Gov. Or they could be creative - each could assume the egalitarian role of Co-Governor; this is very progressive! does Scott realize people really dislike him? If so, he does he care? Why does he continue to be Governor?
