Allen West Gets an Invite to Run for Office in Georgia

International Commie Hunter and wooer of women everywhere Allen West may have lost his bid for Florida's 18th District (or so that's what the socialists would have you believe!), but that doesn't mean he can't take his batshit nuttery someplace else.

In fact, Sue Everhart, chairman of the Georgia Republican Party, has given an open invitation to West to run for office there.

West, an Atlanta native, is still fighting to get a recount, however. So he's a little busy right now.

"I would be glad to have him come back to Georgia and at some point run here," Everhart told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

She also called West "one of the finest congressmen this country's ever had." Because of all the times he went on Fox News and called the president a socialist, presumably. Also that time he said people on food stamps were enslaved. And that time he called Debbie Wasserman Schultz a vile person. Also, that time he called Islam an evil religion.

Yes. A fine congressman, indeed.

Everhart also said she'd do whatever she could to help him, if West decided to run in Georgia.

"I would certainly try to help him because he has done his job. The way he ran his race didn't in any way interfere with the job he did. He ran as a Republican, a conservative Republican."

Yup. All he did during the race was say Democrats are afraid of the black GOPers and came up with conspiracy theories about the positive unemployment numbers.

And yet, he lost.

Hrm.

Anyway, as we pointed out, West is still very much entrenched in doing what he can to get a recount because there's just no way he lost to Patrick Murphy. Even though, when the ballots were counted, it says that he did.
