Red Sox Fan Who Robbed Boca Raton Bank in Custody, According to FBI

Alleged bank robbah Miles Dowling of Newton Maaaas. GO SAWWKS!!

Myles Dowling of Newton Massachusetts was arrested for robbing a PNC Bank in Boca Raton last week, according to an FBI criminal complaint filed in federal court.

The complaint says Dowling demanded money from the tellers using a black revolver handgun, and then took off in a four-door 2000 Honda Civic.

Dowling was wearing a Boston Red Sox hat and had another similar one in his car when the cops picked him up, matching a description investigators found.

The FBI was able to catch Dowling when a confidential source walked past his Boynton Beach hotel room and heard him speaking on a cell phone several days after the robbery.

According the the FBI, their confidential source heard Dowling saying, "I need another sweet lick; I need to catch another bank."

I NEED ANAH-THA SWEET LICK, I NEED TAH CATCH ANAH-THA BAAAANK.

The source then reported seeing Dowling putting a handgun under a mattress, which is when the FBI was called.&

Police authorities investigating the Boca Raton PNC bank robbery were able to match Dowling's description, as well as his car, and his weapon, placing him at the scene of the crime.

According to the affidavit, a store receipt was recovered at the hotel showing that Dowling had bought some ammunition at a local Walmart (ohhh, Walmart). When police viewed the Walmart surveillance tape, they spotted him wearing the same clothing.

Dowling wore the Red Sox hat when cops hauled him away.

Dowling faces a maximum of 20 years in prison, five years of probation, and a $250,000 fine.
