According to a new ebook by Politico writer Glenn Thrush, DNC chair, Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, isn't very popular in the Obama re-election team.

According to Thrush, a secret poll done among Obama's team to determine the popularity of the President's campaign surrogates revealed that Wasserman Schultz was ranked at the very bottom.

Many of Obama's advisers have quietly begun questioning whether they should have picked Wasserman Schultz, an outspoken Florida congresswoman, as his DNC chairwoman. She has clashed with Chicago over her choice of staff and air-time on national TV shows -- and they think she comes across as too partisan over the airwaves.

This adds to an already rough stretch for Wasserman Schultz, who was widely criticized for getting grilled by CNN's Wolf Blizter -- of all people -- last week when the silver-haired TV host challenged her comments on Paul Ryan's Medicare plan.

Wasserman Schultz is still able to draw a big crowd on short notice, however. She made an appearance at Evelyn Mount Community Center in Reno yesterday morning. In her speech, the Congresswoman focused on women's issues, and lambasted Mitt Romney and the Republican party's lack of concern for women.

Thrush's book also highlights a moment where Obama asked a woman he knew was close to Marco Rubio if he was going to be Romney's running mate. She replied, "Maybe."

"Well," he said, chuckling, according to a person who witnessed the encounter. "Tell your boy to watch it. He might get his ass kicked."

That has nothing to do with Debbie Wasserman Schultz, but it's worth mentioning because it's awesome.
