| The scene at the 7-Eleven. |
Update: No idea why the segment didn't run. My apologies to everyone hoping to see footage of a flaming lady on national television.
South Florida is really giving Nancy Grace a lot of material: There was obviously
that whole "Tot Mom" thing, and a few weeks ago, she
covered the Fort Lauderdale murder of Juliana Mensch. This time, she's taking on the case of Naomi Breton, who was set on fire Monday morning when she was trying to pick up her 4-year-old son from his father.
It was originally slated for last night, but the story of the mom set on fire was bumped for a longer segment about a mom accused of killing another mom and her children; it will instead appear tonight, after a segment about a stepmom accused of killing her daughter.
The show starts at 8 p.m. on cable's Headline News; I'm under the impression the short segment on Breton will show up at the end of the hourlong broadcast. In addition, a New Times blogger may have put on a tie to discuss the case with Grace.
I'm not sure how much of the surveillance footage HLN will show tonight, and WPBF decided the video was too disturbing to show its fragile viewers.
We posted it a few days ago.
