Marco Rubio Admits to Puking After Vodka-Shot Contest, Ileana Ros-Lehtinen Makes Fun of Him

Where President Obama, for instance, admitted drug use in his first autobiography, Rubio is silent about it. He admits to partying in South Beach's post-Hurricane Andrew renaissance.
A modest drinker at most, Rubio recalls one moment of excess after a 1996 Bob Dole presidential campaign event in New Hampshire. On the flight home, he got into a vodka-shot competition. He wound up vomiting on an operative in front of his first political mentor, Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, and current state Sen. John Thrasher.
That's hilarious, all on its own. But there's (a little) more.
It looks like Ros-Lehtinen saw the article, because she tweeted it this morning and pointed out that particular section:

If one didn't know any better, that'd look like a pretty standard campaign attack -- but they're both Republicans and, outside of VP rumors, Rubio won't be in an election for another four years. Plus, Rubio has a long history with the congresswoman that includes interning for her in the early '90s and giving her loads of praise when he first arrived in Washington. But it looks like she isn't above poking a little fun when he owns up to being a total bro back in the Dole days.
