I cant believe this woman is out on bond. Something about her lover that set the whole sting in motion didnt testify in open court but through video, where cross examination in front of the jury wasnt possible. In other words, a technicality. And to the person who said 20 yrs is too much because some murderers get less, the logic is wrong. The murderers should get more rather than she get less. She was determined to ruin his life for months! When all else failed she was going to KILL him and not bat an eye. She SHOULD be in for life.

Her husband well ex husband rather paid his debt to society, she is aware she was found guilty, she is trying to get out of 20years in prison. Is this right no, but it is the law. However if I ever feel the need to live a reckless life...I'm moving to Florida! The state were the judge, the lawyer and police can see you do a crime and you can still walk.

There is no way Dalia would win an appeal, because of the video evidence and ridiculously implausible defense her lawyers came up with. Haha, Dalia committed a felony to get on a reality show, ya right. Even she isn't that stupid to think that would be a good idea to get on a reality show. It is painfully obvious that her lawyers made up the story when they learned Cops was at the sting.

No doubt Dalia is pure evil. But 20 years for solicitation seems a lot. I have seen people get less than 20 years for actual murder. Seems the court always render stiffer penalty on black-against-white crimes. I think her sentence may be reduced on appeal.

She is appealing her sentencing, not her conviction, BUT I agree, she should be in prison, not home. And they say it can take up to two years to hear an appeal. Not fair, she should be in jail doing her time.

Yes and no in this case. Her looks didn't help her with her 20 year prison sentence, but her looks helped her get house arrest over prison time while she waits for her appeal. Honestly I doubt an appeal would ever happen, because of the cold hard evidence against her. I mean she is on video committing a serious felony. At that point you can only make up fairy tales to defend yourself in court.

This whole case is so bizarre - no wonder the media is still fascinated with it. She should be in jail AND so should her ex-husband. What ever happened to the Broward DA's office investigation into Mike Dippolito? Something is fishy here and they were both running some kind of scam. It seems there is no justice in the justice system after all.

I agree with you Shar! She probably used the money she stole from Mike her husband that she put antifreeze in his hot tea. This chic needs PRISON and we don't want her cook book, she probably uses antifreeze in recipes. If she was a male she would'nt be out on bail. I watched some of the trial and Mike handled himself really well on the stand while Dalia's parrot lawyer tried so hard to portray the victim as EVIL as his client, the Black Dalia.
