Former Senate Candidate Jeff Greene Back in the News for Being an Awful Resort Owner

Greene bought Palm Beach's Omphoy Ocean Resort out of foreclosure last spring. Now, however, workers have come forward to Jose Lambiet with complaints that they are "simply terrified" to work for Greene, that he viciously berates everyone from the cleaning ladies to the managers, and that he's taken over large swaths of the place for his personal use.
Since Greene, his wife, two children and two nannies moved into six suites in December, some spaces reserved for routine business and the guests' comfort have been claimed by Greene. He reportedly had a storage room emptied of its banquet equipment to build a playroom with a photo booth, jukebox, and movie theater. Greene also had contractors build a playground for the children in a small meditation garden outside the windows of the Zen-like spa.
