Allen West Advises That Everyone "Chill" Over the Video of Marines Whizzing on Corpses

• I wrote, and believe, that we "should be on higher moral ground," not that we always have been.  You missed the point entirely, which is why it's easy to understand why you'd agree with the outrageous opinions of fqs9000.

• After reading your inane comments, you calling me a fool is the height of hypocrisy.  Just imagine the thousands, maybe millions, of militants who will hate us for this desecration and will commit themselves to the destruction of our Nation and our way of life.  Including yours!  But what the hey, I served so you'd have the right and the freedom to express whatever idiotic opinion floated across your pre-Cro Magnon brain,  That's one our greatnesses -- having opinions vetted in the open marketplace of ideas so other folks can consider them all and reach their own conclusions.  As Voltaire is reputed to have said/written:  I may disagree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.  The lesson endeth here.

• The possibility of respect ended when the marines killed them. Killing someone is the highest possible disrespect in that it precludes the possession of ANY privilege or status insofar as he is no longer existent.

• This issue is idiotic. They were SHOT DEAD -- an infinitely greater injury to one's well being than being urinated on. The point at which they are dead is the point at which being pissed on is both maximally harmless and relatively as respectful as a genial handshake and invitation to lunch.
