Rick Scott's Trip to Israel: Most Readers Didn't Buy the "Trade Mission" Title

Gov. Rick Scott givin' the eyes to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
According to the results from our highly unscientific reader poll yesterday, nearly 44 percent of our readers thought Gov. Rick Scott's "Israeli trade mission" was more of a political vacation.

Nearly 37 percent of readers really didn't care why the governor was in Israel, as long as he stayed there.

Shortly after we posted the poll yesterday suggesting that it might be a political vacation for the governor, he (or his staff) posted a picture on his Facebook and in a press release, showing him with Senate President Mike Haridopolos and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

According to the governor's office, they met to discuss "economic and cultural ties between Israel and Florida."

The governor's Facebook page also hosted a news article, proving there was something about business going on in Israel.

"Florida is a good place to do business, Florida Governor Rick Scott told the Israel Business Conference on Sunday," reports the Israeli Diamond Institute's financial news (what?).

He also showed off those obnoxious cowboy boots he was flashing in Canada a couple months ago. Apparently this is what job creation looks like from the Holy Land:
