South Florida Tea Party Leader Reportedly in on Donald Trump's Possible Presidential Run

trump_hell_toupee.jpg
Donald Trump is still threatening to run for president as a third-party candidate, and he appears to be getting help setting it up from the founder of the South Florida Tea Party.

Everett Wilkinson, who was acting as a promoter for Trump's miserable failure at hosting a debate among the GOP presidential candidate, is reportedly looking for state chairmen for Trump's campaign.

It still doesn't make Trump's presidential run official, but he needs to have campaign chairmen set up just in case.

Here's a copy of the email that's reportedly from Wilkinson -- posted on Red State -- that was sent to Texas politicos:

From: Everett Wilkinson
Date: Thu, Dec 29, 2011 at 11:18 AM
Subject: Confidential TX Issue

Dear Patriot Leader,

My name is Everett Wilkinson and I am a tea party leader in Florida and friend of Donald Trump. I am sure you have heard on the news that Mr. Trump is considering a run as an independent. He has asked me to find a "tea party" Texas Chairman for a potential third party by next week. The role requires a Texas voter registration and is due to the voting laws in Texas. The person would not have to change their party affiliation or anything. Would you or do you know of any Texan that would be interested?
Sincerely,
-
Everett Wilkinson

It is what it is and sometimes we need to see what it is.

Why not? Why not? The GOP is falling all over itself. Hell, Put Sarah Palin on the ticket while they're at it.

It can't get worse for them anymore. They've hit rock bottom.

All you have is insults. You insult and give nothing of substance. Donald Trump is a favorite of the Tea Party and when he announces that he is running after the apprentice comes to a conclusion he will jump to the front of the presidential race. Don't drink the liberal koolaid about the Tea Party who America chose to represent them overwhelmingly in the last election wanting radical change for our country. So rant, call names and defame but avoid substance and logic at all costs. It is easier that way. :(

Donald Trump is what America needs. We are being into a downward spiral by members of both parties. What we need is a leader who is independent of both parties and who is not indebted to special interest groups and who cannot be bought. I cannot see Donald Trump being intimidated or bullied. He is a proven leader who knows business leaders and political leaders and has great ideas for dealing with China and the rampant theft of intellectual property. He also has great ideas about having countries pay to have US troops stationed in their countries for their defense, like Korea and Japan. Donald Trump would bring back industry to America by making free trade free and equal, meaning that those countries who are hindering our imports would be slapped with tariffs. Also if countries pay sub-level pay to undercut our prices a sliding tax would help equalize prices to make our goods competitively priced. Trump would stand for a strong independent America that would take a leading role in the World so I encourage everyone to help get Donald Trump on the ballot of their state in order to help get the US back on the right track.

This is a stupid "non-story."   I don't see any problem with Tea Party Leaders connecting with other groups around the county to support a candidate they like.  Donald Trump is the favorite TEA Party contender for President.  We are all hoping he decides to run.

Tea baggers and republicans..both disgusting.  Especially after I read this article..  http://www.rollingstone.com/po...It was written from interviews of REPUBLICANS who think they have become disgusting.  An it shows how the tea baggers are just shills for the rich.  Eye opening to say the least and I already knew a lot of it.  Lets just say it this way, a vote for a republican is a vote for the death of the middle class.

Relevant? Hell Yes!! Our country is on the brink of disaster and none of the "party" people are talking about the serious and pressing issues. We need someone who is not a part of the political machine and who is independent of both Democrat and Republican establishments. Posting insults without substance shows the shallowness of your intelligence.
