Fort Lauderdale Men Killed Six Days and a Few Doors Apart; Cops Say Homicides Not Related
The first victim was 51-year-old Eugene "Bow-Leg" Lynch, who was found shot to death in a residence at 837 NW Tenth Terrance on the afternoon of November 20.
Cops say he was killed sometime in the "early hours" that day.
Just before noon on Saturday, somebody called police saying there was a man lying in the middle of the road with stab wounds.
That man, 20-year-old Patrick Brinson, was taken to the Broward General Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
According to the cops, the stabbing took place in a residence at 833 NW Tenth Terrace.
Here's the map of those:
Fort Lauderdale Police Detective Travis Mandell says investigators don't think the two homicides are related, and it's unclear whether both men actually lived at those addresses.
Police are still looking for anyone who may know what Lynch was doing or who he was in contact with before he died, as well as anyone who had contact with Brinson before he died.
