A new poll shows that Republican Rep. Allen West, who cruised to a near-ten-point victory over his Democratic challenger in 2010, is viewed less favorably than DNC Chairwoman Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz -- in the Broward portion of West's own congressional district.

The poll, commissioned by BrowardBeat.com -- which did not survey outside of Broward County -- shows that 46.5 percent of the District 22 voters polled had a favorable view of Wasserman Schultz, compared to 42.8 percent who had a favorable view of West.

The gap is even wider between the two when it comes to unfavorable opinions -- 44.1 percent of West's constituents said they had an unfavorable view of him, while 34.5 percent of his constituents said they had an unfavorable view of Wasserman Schultz.

On the extremes, 29.8 percent of West's constituents said they had a "very favorable" view of Wasserman Schultz, compared to 23.8 for West. Wasserman Schultz was viewed as "very unfavorable" by 22.6 percent of West's constituents, compared to 28.6 percent who said they had a "very unfavorable" view of West.

In West's district, 3.6 percent said they'd never heard of him.

Over in District 20 -- Wasserman Schultz's district -- she had even more positive ratings.

In her district, 58.6 percent gave the thumbs-up, compared to 34.6 who gave the thumbs-down. For West, 30.1 percent were in favor; 42.1 percent were not.

Both West and Wasserman Schultz received a "very unfavorable" rating of 21.8 percent in Wasserman Schultz's district, but 39.1 percent gave a "very favorable view" to the congresswoman, compared to 12.8 for the congressman.

According to the Davie-based pollster, 402 likely Broward voters were surveyed for the poll between November 7 and November 10.

Wow, Judy Stern says she is going to sue you and you yank the article about her. She claims that someone has stolen her identity on other blogs. Maybe you should ask her how many times she has sued to find out who was behind the emails on other blogs? Never is my guess? Considering her reputation for honesty, you had no choice but to pull the article, lol. Do you think she denied the email and maybe created a bogus story about idenity theft because she got caught? Isnt this the same Judy Stern that Bob Norman showed on this blog had been lying to a federal judge.

It sounds like Beth has some issues of age related bias and general right wing lemming like behavior.  West is a little bully who was too scared to run in his own district and the used his potty mouth to attack Wasserman Schultz when she pointed out he supported the Ryan plan which proposes to cut medicare and welfare.  He may have been an officer, but he is no gentleman.

Soon even West will just be another dumb ass on FOX news.  And good riddance.

Put enough of these political hacks on that one network and they will start eating each other for survival.

That would be amusing if we could be so lucky.

I disagree with the article and for good reason. I'm down here and the Fire Debbie movement is growing and FL 20 knows she is dodging the district except for partisan Obama rallies!

Who cares?

Both West and Wasserman suck so much Israeli cock that neither one of them makes a difference when it comes down to what is best for the PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

This whole charade is falling apart anyways and I cannot wait to watch the "SHOW".

The demographs who responded to the survey obviously suffer from dementia due to age, lifestyle and meds which are deteriorating their cognition....unless of course, the questions were parsed and slanted in favor of the misanthrope (man-hater) wasserman-sch**tz
