Occupy Fort Lauderdale Starts Its Occupation (Live Video)

Categories: Politics
Occupy Fort Lauderdale now has an address -- Bubier Park at 32 E. Las Olas Blvd.

The group announced it has started a 24/7 occupation of the park, which began with the first group of people on Saturday night after their first demonstration.

The next meeting of the group -- labeled the "Facilitation Meeting" -- will take place in the park at 7:30 tonight, alongside the people who are calling the park home for a while.

A live video stream of the occupation in Bubier Park has gone offline a few times since the protesters set up camp, but you can watch the occupation when they're live in the video below:

You can also click here to watch the video clips people recorded last night from the park.

LOL, I am going to tell every Homeless person,  Drug addict , Drunkard and every other dirt bag I can find to join their brethren down at the park for free food, free shelter and free stuff. This is a great opportunity to clean up the streets.

I might go down to the Keys and join Occupy Key West for the winter.

I will be sleeping on my back of course. (not that there is anything wrong with that)

Go home!!  Get a job!! Start a business!!! But quit whining.  And by the way, it hasn't been called Bubier Park for years.

some brave wet folks out there. support occupy ftl!

Perhaps the reason the are protesting is because they can't get a job! Did you ever think of that?
