Miami Dolphins or FAU Owls: Who Will Win a Game First (or at All)?

Dad, what's the "postseason"?
Florida is a death trap for football this year -- there are no college football teams in the state in the Associated Press' Top 25 poll for the first time in almost 30 years, and the three NFL teams have a combined record of 5-12.

Two of those teams, the Florida Atlantic University Owls and the Miami Dolphins, have won a combined zero games.

In the last year of coach Howard Schnellenberger's career, FAU opened the season by dropping five road games -- losing by a combined total of 183-68 -- and proceeded to be shut out by Western Kentucky in its first home game at the new $62 million FAU Stadium.

FAU has six games left in the season, all of them being conference games except for one -- a home game against the University of Alabama at Birmingham on November 26. UAB's Blazers haven't won a game in their first six attempts either.

Then there are the Dolphins.

The Fins are 0-5 on the season, including last night's loss to the New York Jets, and they lost the guy they used to refer to as a "starting quarterback" to injury.

New running back Reggie Bush was expected to rush for a little more than 30 yards per game, and no receiver has caught more than one touchdown pass.

Kicker Dan Carpenter can be as reliable as a rear-ended Fort Pinto, and sometimes it looks like the Dolphins just can't buy a game.

The Fins still have 11 games left in the season, which seems like plenty of time to win a game or ten, but who do you think will win first, the Owls or the Dolphins?

FAU may have a better stadium, but their team is 0-6 (the worst in FL's Division I), and their students pay the highest athletic fee in the state's division to help them lose games. http://owl.li/7180k

I don't know if either team will win a game this year, but FAU has a better stadium for wartching football.
