Allen West: Occupy Movement Is a Commie "Gang" Full of "the Bad People"

allen-west-military.jpg
Sen. Joseph McCarthy Rep. Allen West decided to donate his two cents on the Occupy movement this week, and here's what we learned: He doesn't know exactly what he's talking about.

He managed to identify the Occupy protesters as "communists," "Marxist," "Stalinist," and "socialist" in the same sentence and added that they're just a bunch of "gangs."

West also believes Martin Luther King Jr.'s children are wrong about their father's beliefs.

This all came from one interview with Newsmax, the video of which you can see by clicking here.

West was asked about a sign from a protest that read "Karl Marx was right" and what that said about the entire movement. Here's his thought on that:

I think it says that they are once again... this progressive movement is really what communists were called back at the turn of the century, so we're starting to really see the face of who liberal progressives are, be it Marxist, Stalinist policies, going back to socialist type of policies, nationalizing production, creating the incredible entitlement class, instead of producing a production class.

So is the movement like the Tea Party? Nope -- gangs.

When you talk to somebody with the tea party, they can tell you what they want -- limited government that's constitutionally mandated, fiscal responsibility, they also want to see our free market and free enterprise systems adhered to, as well as our national security. But when you talk to these Occupy Wall Street gangs, they're all over the place. It's like a shotgun as opposed to a precision-guided munition.

He apparently hasn't been paying attention, which became apparent after he decided to correct Martin Luther King Jr.'s children on whether their father would join in on the movement.

Martin Luther King Jr. would not have backed these types of protesters. He had a focus, a message. He was divinely inspired. I don't know what the inspiration is for these individuals.

That's not exactly what Bernice King said earlier this week:

Then there's the opinion of Martin Luther King III:

We have bailed out the auto industry, and we should have. We bailed out Wall Street. Now it's time to bail out working Americans. That's what this is about. I believe that if my father was alive, he would be right here with all of us involved in this demonstration today.

Here's a link to donate to West's campaign, in case he needs a little extra cash for his ticket back to reality.

Nothing scares progressive communists more than a Conservative Black War Hero who loves America. If you pinkos think that Obamas OWS terrorist movement is anything but just that, go to breitbart.com and watch the endless video footage of the violence, anti American communist vile crap.

The amusing thing is all of this crap was foretold.  An not by  one of those biblical nutjobs, but by Ralph Nader.  He has been saying this for decades an no one listened.  Now the power is in the hands of the wealthy and the corporations while the rest of us are out in the cold without a say in anything anymore.People like the war criminal West are just symptomatic of the problem an just go out of their way to make things worse.This is no longer a government of the people for the people since not one of us could ever go an even attempt to be elected to office.  None of us could pull in the massive amounts of money.  It is simply a government to get all the cash for the rich and powerful so that they can become even more powerful.People should really check into what Nader was saying.  They will see everything he said has happened.

What we need are more regulations, more bureaucrats, and more politicians shoveling money out to their buddies.  This is exactly what created the problem in the first place.  The Wall Street weasels merely did what made them money under the existing laws which were made by the whining 'Regulate everything' crowd.  One term & out and let them go broke.  Bail out nobody.

P.S. At least you are aware enough to understand that the Wall St. traders are weasels.

That's a good start. Hopefully, we can clear up the rest of the gobbedlygook you spew.

You need serious help with that "information deficit syndrome" that afflicts you. It was deregulation of the banking system that was the primary cause of this crisis.

Holy Shit, you need serious deprogramming. We may have to start all over again.

I'm bringing blocks to our first session.

No shit!!! Let's have less fucking regulations.

Shit, why even bother to regulate anything.  Bring on the Wild West... Do me a favor FQSPMS... When that happens, let me know where you live...

The writer made the generally correct assumption that intelligent readers would understand the connection between his first line about West's bombastic and uninformed claim that the demonstrators being "bad people" with his account of West's own sordid history. Apparently it was over your head.

Way to pick apart an interview and write a completely bias article. When I read an article son, I dont give a SHIT what you think about it, or your boss. Why dont you just bring the information, and I will decide which way to sway my opinion, I dont need you to tell me he apparently knows nothing, because really, if you knew ANYTHING, you would know that he is right. Sorry, but I have already seen and heard countless interviews of the protesters, and they are all saying the same thing, make things equal for everyone, make thing communal, dont let anyone get too much. What the fuck do you think that means Matthew? Capitalism? People need to learn what the fuck they are talking about before being allowed to propagate this bullshit publicly.

Do you know the difference between a blog contribution and a news story? BTW, I mistakenly clicked on "Like" That was in error.

P.S. Don't you live in that state that is actually considering electing Joe the Plumber to Congress?

Enough said...

Get the shit out of your ears. This is what they are saying:

Reinstate Glass Steagal, so that the bloodsuckers on Wall St. can't gamble with our deposit money;

Pass a tax on all speculative investments and regulate the derivatives market;

Force the Fortune 500 to bring our jobs back home from China, India and anywhere else they have hired slaves;

Tax the hedge fund pigs at the higher income tax rate, not the lower 15% rate.

We know that most of you can't comprehend half of of what we are saying, because these issues don't fit on a bumper sticker. It is your ignorance that defines you and your movement.

There is nothing socialist or communist about the above issues. They all existed for decades in this capitalist society.

The items listed in your post would be a great start. A lot more needs to be done to right the ship.

Try voicing your opinion without bring race into it next time, Im white, and at the bottom with everyone else. That word needs to be banned from any intellectual conversation. Anyone can see that the minute that word comes out, progression stops, and people argue, and are COMPLETELY distracted from whats really happening.

hmm, let's see, white, spare time to rant at a blog...yeah that's exactly what being "at the bottom" is like lol

West said;" this progressive movement is really what communists were called back at the turn of the century".

Does that statement make sense, on any level,  to anyone?

The man is a moron. He must feel very comfortable in his insulated TeaParty Cocoon. A representative, of any district , needs to serve his entire constituency, but instead West feels it is his duty to alienate and insult a large bloc of his constituency on a continual basis. The man is a bully with a pulpit.

Hey Whitey:

Stop trying to pretend you know what causes Dr. King would support. You're too busy in the house with the master to know what is happening in the field.

Let's not hold Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s children up as anything special.  Their father was the great pioneer, not them.  They just happen to have the last name and lineage.  They are as self centered and greedy as anyone else in this great capitalistic country.  The MLK foundation was driven to the point of near bankruptcy by their leadership.

Did you also know that they charged almost $1 Million Dollars for the rights to use their father, Dr. King's image on fundrasing materials for the MLK Jr. memorial in DC.  That's right, they profited financially and continue to do so based on their name and the licensing rights of their deceased father's image....not as great and altruistic as they seem...simply pandering to the masses.

Once again, Col West is right on target.The demonstrators have zero value to mankind and should be handled accordingly.

I guess you meant to say disgraced Lt Colonel [ret] Allen West is right on target? However, have you ever listened to his incoherent, uninformed ramblings? ...or are you just excited to hear what you want to hear? I Always am interested in opinions not aligned with my own, but not from the mouth of an imbecile. I've attended his speeches, watched his press conferences....the old saying goes, "your allowed your own opinions, not your own facts". The guy and his supporters pander to the fears of an uneducated, to often ignorant electorate without any research, facts, or reality to support his blathering.

I disagree. I would argue that now is the time to revisit socialist ideas and Marxist analysis, more than ever. I wasn't the bearer of the "Marx Was Right" sign at Occupy, but I will be next time.

Is it time to get rid of this guy yet?  I know he is getting millions of dollars from everyone not actually in florida, but still we should be able to boot this nutjob war criminal out by now.  Every time he opens his mouth, something more insane comes out.

Well, he is right on one point.

I've attended the rally...  So there was at least one Socialist there.
