In the second over-the-weekend case involving people lighting -- or attempting to light -- things on fire in domestic disputes, the Broward Sheriff's Office says Shawanda Robinson got mad at her boyfriend yesterday and ended up setting fire to their apartment.

According to the sheriff's office, a 911 call came in around 10:30 a.m. yesterday about a Deerfield Beach apartment fire.

Police say Robinson, 28, was arguing with her boyfriend -- who's also the father of her twin baby girls -- when she decided to introduce fire into the argument.

BSO spokeswoman Keyla Concepción says Robinson went to a closet in the apartment, set one of her boyfriend's shirts on fire, "and within minutes the fire was out of control."

Deerfield Beach Fire Rescue eventually put the fire out, but not before the seven other families living in the building had to be evacuated.

Concepción says the blaze caused "extensive damage" to the building, which is located in the 900 block of Spring Circle.

No one was injured in the fire, police say.

Robinson was jailed on one count of first-degree arson and was being held in the Broward County Jail on $10,000 bond, according to the sheriff's office.
