Beauchamp, 34, has been in jail since March 3 -- the day after the kids were found -- on weapons charges he pleaded guilty to last month.
The kids, 10-year-old Jermaine McNeil and 6-year-old Ju'Tyra Allen, had lived with Beauchamp since their mother, Felicia Brown, 25, went "missing" in August 2010.
Brown was never reported missing, and her body remained unidentified until after her children were found dead.
According to previously filed court documents, Beauchamp admitted killing Brown to another jail inmate.
The grand jury's indictment covers not only Brown's murder but also the murder of her two children.
"The Grand Jury has indicted Clem Beauchamp of murdering all three," State Attorney Michael McAuliffe says. "The Grand Jury alleges that the defendant killed the two children and their mother with premeditation. The Grand Jury alleges that Ju'Tyra was killed by asphyxiation and Jermaine was killed by blunt force trauma."
McAuliffe says the state will seek the death penalty against Beauchamp.
We'll fill you in on the details of the investigation when they become available.
