• I despise Allen West. What has he done for this country except for: 1. Insult women. 2. Insult the President. 3. Insult his ancestors. He has done nothing for his district. • You know why he gets so much airtime?  It's people like you, pulp, who write about him.  The more you write, the more TV talks with him, the more radio interviews, the more relevant he becomes.  If you ignore him and stop writing stories, he will be as generic and useless as the rest of Congress.  So you decide.

• There are 2 ways to garner attention to one's self. One is to do something worthwhile and outstanding and then there is the other way that requires one to be outrageous, ridiculous, disturbing, unnerving,  stupid, ludicrous and / or harmful. Sadly, West opts for this other way. It is either easier for him or all he is capable of.

• AND that is all he has done. West has only proposed 6 pieces of legislation half of which have no sponsors and none of which do a thing to help South Florida. West was and always has been a GOP military industrial complex right wingnut transplant. he doesn't give a crap about Florida. He needs to shut up and do something, ANYTHING, constructive.

• Was he the bugle boy in his platoon, because he is the biggest blowhard in Congress. And in a building full of legendary blowhards, that is quite an accomplishment.

• He is the right wing nuts media darling.  But how much do you want to bet the second President Obama is out of office, West will suddenly go missing?  Then there is the point, will anyone care?
