Rick Scott's Bromance Partner Rick Perry Leads Republican Presidential Candidates in Florida

According to an American Research Group poll of 600 Republican voters, 16 percent would choose Texas Gov. Rick Perry as the person to take on President Obama, ahead of Rep. Michele Bachmann and former Gov. Mitt Romney, who both came in at 15 percent.
It's not much of a surprise that Perry comes out on top, as it may appear that Scott and Perry have a crush on each other -- they like to write each other letters, exchange nicknames, and even went on vacation in the mountains of Colorado together.
Regardless, Scott has said he thinks Perry will run for president -- even though Perry hasn't announced that he's going to -- and it looks like Florida's Republicans are hoping the same.
Sarah Palin came in at 13 percent, and pizza man Herman Cain garnered 11 percent.
Everyone else came in under 10 percent: Rudy Giuliani received 7 percent, Ron Paul received 4 percent, and Newt Gingrich received 3 percent, while the rest -- Jon Huntsman, Tim Pawlenty, and Rick Santorum -- received 1 percent each.
Those who identified themselves as aligning with the Tea Party, however, chose a little differently: 20 percent chose Bachmann, 18 percent chose Perry, and 15 percent chose Palin.
Perry is expected by most, including Gov. Scott, to announce his candidacy for president in the near future.
