Former Overpriced-Steak Salesman Craig Miller Enters Senate Race

Miller, running as a Republican, has decided to enter quite a busy field of candidates wishing to overtake Nelson, including Adam Hasner, George LeMieux, and Florida Senate President Mike Haridopolis.
Miller currently has zero victories in one loss in political campaigns after coming in third in a congressional race last year.
According to Politico, Miller's tour of the state begins tomorrow to announce his candidacy to different areas, including Tampa, Naples, West Palm Beach, and Jacksonville.
Miller spent more than a half-million dollars of his own money in his failed congressional bid but won't be financing his Senate campaign, his spokesman tells RealClearPolitics.

Miller was forced to leave Ruth's Chris in 2008 after the chain's profits dropped and stock value fell nearly 70 percent. He was given a $2.4 million severance package, the Orlando Sentinel reported at the time. He previously served as CEO of Uno Restaurant Holdings Corp. He also had volunteered for the Air Force during the Vietnam War.
He entered the House race that then State Rep. Sandy Adams eventually won six months before the primary. While he finished third, he was only 1,616 votes behind Adams in a close race.
We'd like to be optimistic about Miller's chances, but considering the beating he got in the House race, we're not seeing where he thinks he stands a chance.
