Allen West: Wasserman Schultz "Most Vile, Unprofessional, and Despicable" House Member

• West was right, Wasserman Schmutz is a psychopath.

• It's not "Unprofessional and Inappropriate Sophomoric Behavior" to send an email of this nature?

• To suggest that this was an unprovoked attack on Col. West's part is more than a little disengenuous. Wasserman-Schultz has gone after the Colonel on other occassions, prior to her latest tirade -- that was conveniently launched after West had left the building. Debbie is a coward in my view -- and while perfectly entitled to her own opinion of Rep. West and his position on the issues, owes him more respect than she ever has been willing to show him. While Ms. W-S was safe and warm in her bed at home, Col. West and his brothers were thousands of miles away in a Godforsaken hellhole, protecting Ms. W-S' right to not only hold the views she does, but to express them publicly. For that reason alone, Ms. W-S owes him her respect and gratitude. But she'd rather demagogue Col. West's support of meaningful spending reform by shrieking about his intent to put his elderly constituents in peril by taking funds from Medicare -- something the President, the leader of her party, has already comitted to doing as a provision of Obamacare. Shame on you, Debbie. Those on the left howling in protest at Col. West's "Outrageous" and "sexist" language have been conspicuous in their silence over the years whenever those on their side of the aisle (often posing as satirists and comedians) have launched lewd and childish verbal attacks on conservative women. Where were NOW and Emiliy's list then? It would seem that acts of sexism can only be performed by conservatives -- and that they don't count when they come from the left. The citizens of South Florida should be proud to have a representative like Col. West, a man who is first and foremost a patriot and a statesman, rather than a politician.

• Debbie Wasser-Schmutz is simply another vile Obamaton who got tapped by the DNC when the truth came out about Stacy Ritter.  This Jew does not have her back.  Go West!

• Mr West will win easily, because he's doing exactly the job he was elected to do. The problem is that you're wrong. Gay issues don't help everyone; they help gays at the expense of others. We need tourists in south florida. We need jobs. We need rich people to start buying condos again. Bashing rich people, which is what Wasserman-Schultz and her clan do, hurts everyone. It might make you feel better, but it hurts South Florida.

• Yelling and screaming won't change the truth. Being a loser is difficult, so I won't be too hard on you.

• Well that's the issue with electoral political systems; obviously any district has more than one party within its boundaries.  One would hope that the elected official will work towards the goals of his/her constituents; i.e. dem/repub.  However, we all know once elected, ALL POLITICIANS play to their political base, which elected them, usually to the perceived detriment of the losing party.  Such is life in politics.  I don't exactly agree with Wass, but it is tough to argue that West's response was anything less than juvenile, spontaneous and inappropriate.  Whether he admits it or not, I guarantee he now wishes he wrote the e-mail, sat on it for 24 hours, reviewed it again when he was not angry and possibly reevaluated the situation.  Now he's stuck looking like a bully.  In fact, he was on TV today stating that the e-mail was not even a demonstration of him being angry.  What the hell does this guy do when he's angry????  To boot, I reviewed Wass' comments from the House floor and they weren't even that bad -- certainly not worthy of the risk West has now taken in response.

• I'm still trying to figure out how Wassermann Schultz  can serve ALL the constituents in her district (including Republicans) while also chairing the DNC. One dirty little secret: the number of Democrats who attend Congressman West's town halls who support him. He represents all Americans. Remove Wassermann Schultz's talking points, what is left?  It's ironic that many in the group with the most to loose (young Americans) are supporting the party that has designs to enslave them.

• Can this Buckeye pose question to the people of Allen West's district?  Is this the best you can do?  This isn't a statesman or a leader, this is frustrated-sergeant the emotional maturity of a 12 year old.  But I guess if he is a "true representation" of the people in his district..... so be it.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz and her minions implied or even directly called Allen West a misogynist, racist, and sexist (even though he is married for a long time). As you know Wasserman Schultz spearheaded the demonstration in front of Allen's campaign office in 2010. She is after Allen West since Day One..why? West stands for much of what is great in American and Wasserman Schultz defends class warfare and hateful politics. 

• Finally someone had the balls to say it out loud. I think he got it just about right; Wasserman-Schultz is just a liar and vile is a perfect word to describe her.

• Allen West is a coward.  What man tells a woman to say something to his face.  That's what you say when you want a fist fight.  Maybe this idiotic coward does want to beat on a woman, so he may finally have a slight chance at victory.  Why didn't West simply stay in the Chamber until the conclusion of the proceedings instead of leaving like a little baby?  Why not simply write an op ed piece, call a reporter and make a quote --- or better yet, respond on the record, in Chambers, during the next set of proceedings.  Sending a personal e-mail shows his inability to think rationally and contain his ego for even 24 hours.  Funny, he didn't get his daughter to remove her anti gay statements on her Facebook page within 24 hours because his repub base probably liked that his daughter was promoting gay bashing.  However, he must immediately respond to any professional attacks relative to political issues.  Also, didn't he know that she would immediately publish the e-mail?  Why not respond in a responsible, logical manner, wherein you set forth your objections to the statement and properly itemize why the statemement is incorrect?  Wasserman Schultz is not my favorite Dem and she has issues too, but she knows how to control herself and I don't worry about IMPULSE and EGO problems like I do with West.  The worst part is that his base probably thinks his attack e-mail was cool.  It is due time for this guy to go!!!!!

• The video and text of what she said is ALL over the Internet. She was debating his policies on the house of the floor of congress as is her job and nothing in her speech was offensive.She did not call him any names, she simply stated his position and he, apparently, didn't feel a need to stay and listen to the opposing commentary. it was Cspan fer crissakes. And in typical transfuse style, he emails her after saying she should say things to his face?! Yes he will be cutting Medicare to seniors who rely and depend on it and paid into it. I notice he didn't defend his position, just called her names. The tactic of a schoolyard bully.

• Great Job West! I would love for the New Times to report what Wasserman said that he needed to defend himself. But once again we only hear half the story from the New Times. To the New Times editors: The Truth has no agenda! Please if you are going to have an opinion on something or someone give both sides of the story to people, we are not as dumb as you think we are. We can make up our own minds without you trying to push your views and ideology, it comes across as poor writing.

• Sure is great to see the Planet of the Apes movies making a comeback. This will give poor dumb Allen something to work on after he is voted out of office next year.

• Debbie Wasserman-Schultz got exactly what she deserved. And West documented in that email exactly why. Her comments are fear and smear, all that she knows. Thank you Rep. West. Thank You!

• What a class act. This iconic tea party hero sounds like a whiny bitch. If he had real balls he would have run against DSW, since he lives in her district, instead of running against a weak incumbent in another district. If you can't beat 'em, revile 'em.
