Rick Scott Recommends Rain Dance to End Florida's Wildfires
Around 93 percent of the state is in a drought at one level or another, according to Sunshine State News, and more than 300,000 acres of land have been burned.
The governor, however, has the answer: Do a rain dance.
"The best thing, do a rain dance," Scott told WDBO.
Thanks for the advice, shaman Scott.
Smoke has been reported all over the state, from the Panhandle to Miami-Dade County, including a rush of people calling 911 over massive smoke in Palm Beach County.
There are more than 2,000 state and local employees working on the fires now, and National Guard helicopters have been approved for use in fighting the fires.
But we should be OK just by doing a rain dance; the governor knows what he's talking about, right?
*Yes, there are really 420 places going up in smoke.
