I love Koch!
We finally have an answer as to where Gov. Rick Scott was this weekend, and it confirms our suspicion: at the billionaire Koch brothers' secret conference outside Vail, Colorado.

St. Petersburg Times reporter Alex Leary got the information out of him, a day after the governor's spokesman wouldn't confirm or deny whether Scott was there.

"I told anybody who asked me," the governor told the Times, apparently ignoring the fact that he spends most of his days playing hide-and-seek from the media.

Scott didn't get too specific on what he did at the Koch retreat.

"It was very interesting," he told the Times. "They wanted to know basically... what am I doing in Florida."

We're all wondering the same thing, governor.

It makes you wonder if Scott was hiding the fact that he attended the Koch brothers' conference until everyone started asking where he was.

His public schedule was empty this past weekend -- the first time there hadn't been anything scheduled on a weekend for the governor since he took office.

When people started asking about the governor getting Koch'd out in Colorado, Scott's flack pointed to his calendar, saying it was "not on his public schedule."

A few other politicians headed to the conference had no problems revealing they were going on the trip, like Texas Gov. Rick Perry and Virginia's Gov. Robert McDonnell and Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli.

But trying to conceal himself from the media isn't helping him, as mentioned in today's profile on Scott from the New York Times.

At least he's finally admitted to trysting with the richest and most powerful conservative political donors in the nation.

Florida Democratic Party Communications Director Eric Jotkoff, who started the "where is Rick Scott" fire, still isn't pleased after the governor came clean on his Koch trip.

"Rick Scott leaving FL w/out telling anyone during state of emergency to brag to Kochs about killing 100k jobs was completely irresponsible," he posts on Twitter.

Politics aside, after viewing the various videos of Scott interacting with the press, I have never witnessed a more uncomfortable and bizarre person in public office.

This dude truly is creepy. There is something wrong with him, and I assure, you, it has little to do with the fact that he was involved with ripping off Medicare. There is something else, a deep, dark secret.

Who is pulling his strings, and what do they have on him?

Couldn't Scott just stay there? Please!

If the Koch brothers believed in what they say they should be a big supporter of Gary Johnson.  I think I'll try and sell them my website.  Google Mootsa Gootsa to see why.

I suspect what they have on him is exactly what has hounded him, since day one. He did the dirty deeds as the head of Columbia/HCA. He was intimate in the fraud and they could toast his ass in a heartbeat if they cared to. As long as he acts as head executioner in Florida, he is relatively safe. He is their puppet. IMNSHO.

PS Eff the Tea party and their elected officials.
