Pack of North Lauderdale Women Fails to Rob Pizza Boy With Paintball Gun

​For once, the pizza boy taking forever to deliver a pizza was a good thing.

Four North Lauderdale women waited in the driveway of a vacant home for so long to rob the pizza boy that two neighbors called 911 and Broward Sheriff's deputies showed up before any sign of the pizza, cops say.

Police say the deputies drove up to the driveway and found Tashay Bryant, 21, Shakera Collins, 20, Victoria Grajales, 18, and Rashelle Moore, 18, in a black Honda Civic wearing masks and hooded sweatshirts, planning to rob a Pizza Hut delivery driver when he showed up.

Two neighbors called the cops around 10 p.m. Tuesday because they saw four people in a car wearing masks, and the car's license plate was covered.

According to the BSO, the driver of the car was starting to drive away when they showed up, but deputies pulled the car over because of broken taillights and because the driver wasn't wearing a seat belt.

After changing their story up a bit, the four women admitted they had ordered a delivery from Pizza Hut to a vacant house and planned on robbing the driver with a paintball gun when he showed up, the cops say.

Police say the women planned on stealing the pizza too.

The women were arrested and face charges of committing a felony with a weapon, wearing a mask while committing a felony, robbery with a weapon, and loitering or prowling, according to the sheriff's office.

Cops say they're looking into the women for four other recent North Lauderdale-area robberies including delivery drivers, although the suspects in those cases were all reported to have been men.
