Sketch Released of Suspect Who Beat and Robbed 88-Year-Old Pompano Woman

The Broward Sheriff's Office released this sketch today of the suspect who they say beat and robbed an elderly woman during a home invasion last week.

Last Tuesday, shortly before 10 p.m., the suspect busted into the Pompano Beach home of 88-year-old Pearl Patrinos, punched her in the face, threatened to kill her, and then fled with $3 and some jewelry.     Earlier reports gave a vague description.

But detectives now say that they're looking for a black male with medium-brown complexion and a thin build, appearing to be in his late teens or early 20s. He wore a white tank top and baggy black shorts when he was last seen fleeing from Patrinos' home along the 800 block of NE 33rd Street.
