The Broward Sheriff's Office released this sketch today of the suspect who they say beat and robbed an elderly woman during a home invasion last week.

Last Tuesday, shortly before 10 p.m., the suspect busted into the Pompano Beach home of 88-year-old Pearl Patrinos, punched her in the face, threatened to kill her, and then fled with $3 and some jewelry.

Earlier reports gave a vague description.

But detectives now say that they're looking for a black male with medium-brown complexion and a thin build, appearing to be in his late teens or early 20s. He wore a white tank top and baggy black shorts when he was last seen fleeing from Patrinos' home along the 800 block of NE 33rd Street.

The BSO asks that anyone with information about this case contact robbery detectives or submit tips anonymously to Broward County Crime Stoppers.

Someone will have to come forward if they're gong to catch him 'cause that description matches two-thirds of the young black males I see out on the street.

please if anyone has info please come forward. I know were in an "anti snitching" culture, but imagine if it was your parent. It takes a real big person to beat up an 88 year old (going to be 89 next month). Pearl is my aunts mom and I wish that lowlife would of tried to beat me up!
