As a protester and disrupter, we expected to be arrested ... and were .... and were often beaten. We weren't whiners, as this new breed seems to be. Many of us were polite when we wanted discourse - when we wanted to disrupt - we did - and did a fine job of it. We paid for our "crimes" and have not taken it back. This 4th Reich crap is such sophomoric schtick. Do something positive, learn to grow your own food, learn to go to vote, learn to write, and spend a life devoted to making a better world - special education (mine was abused children) and a host of other things. These protesters are pissing against the wind.

The cop was not on duty, not official police duty, he was hired off duty. Dose this allow him to use his uniform as a intimating shield and Also make an arrested?This is a question that needs answered about officers acting off duty. Can I wear a guard uniform, get a gun permit and arrest people?

She probably shouldn't have been arrested. However, once in jail, she should comply with the jailer's directions. Macing appears justified. In both instances, I suspect half the story hasn't been divulged. Moral of the story...don't get arrested

she was also screaming at the officer and pointing her finger in his face. When asked to leave by an officer, she should have left. When an officer escorts you out of a building you better go. The whole thing could have been avoided by just leaving the building when told.

Should have stayed in her cell too. People in public safety have to deal with violence on a constant basis. You can't give her the benefit of the doubt because she is in talk radio. She is just another person while in jail, and they probably didn't know who she was anyway. When someone doesn't follow directions.. they get tased. Its so the officer doesn't get attacked or shot. I am a paramedic, if someone becomes aggressive towards me, I call for law enforcement.

So should she have been asked to leave, probably not for a town hall meeting. But she should have left without getting aggressive.

When the Spartans held a townhall meeting, they didn't take pre-screened questions like some sissy. They would have their constituents confront them with a question of their choice, and then they would proceed to bite the head of a puppy while answering the question.

BTW, noticed at the conclusion of the "Event Report", it is stated " no charges are being filed". What does that mean? No charges filed against the BSO employee? No charges filed against Ms. Sandler? WTF? But bad enough to spray mace.

Wow!!!!!!!! That scene remids me of the1960's, when, mostly young people were arrested, beaten, and even killed, a la the massacre at Kent State, University, Ohio in 1970 for voicing their opinions. If they thought Nicole was disruptive, they could have excorted her out of the meeting. But being physical with her, not telling her what she was being arrested for, putting her in solitary, and macing her?? Wake up America!!!!!!
