Brian Krebs' Mug Shot Shows How Badly He Was Beaten After Fishtales Stabbing

According to the official record, the crowd at Fishtales "disarmed and subdued" Brian Krebs after he stabbed Jimmy Pagano to death during a bar fight April 17. But witnesses say it was more dramatic than that -- a handful of patrons and employees descended on Krebs.

Krebs managed to stab five of them before they took the steak knife from him. Then they beat him so badly that some who were there feared he might die too. Krebs spent two nights in the hospital, but police say he was healthy enough last week to finally be booked on charges of murder and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

Now a newly released booking photo shows just how badly Krebs was beaten. The photo shows him with two black eyes, a cut on his left cheek, and a swollen jaw. Krebs, who served as inspiration for the American Pie character Stifler, will remain at the Broward County Jail on charges that, if he is convicted, would put him in prison for life.

They should execute this individual, he is going to get off on a insanity plea because of his past and record....he is also going to use they attacked me and i was not on my medication for w ekk before the bar brawl in which he stabbed Pagano to death....it would have saved us all the pian of him getting off on a technicality.....what a shame...KT

So. This fella's obviously nuts. No justification. Deserves what he gets. That being said, a previous article states that he was kicked out of the bar after disputing the bar tab. Word on the street (which is about as reliable as investment tips from shoeshine boys) is that several bartenders at said bar were/are known for padding intoxicated clients bills. Again, this guy's a nutcase and his actions are in no way, shape, or form justifiable. Just curious if what I've heard amongst some other local drinkers is true or just rumor-mongering. Anyone have any first hand knowledge of this, one way or the other?

Big bad ass got to go get his mama's kitchen knife to stab an unarmed friend to death. Should have taken it like a man. But he will now, one way or another. RIP Jimmy.

Krebs didn't have any money with him in the first place. I'm told he attempted to pay with a hotel room key card, rather than an atm card. When this was pointed out to him, he became annoyed, argued briefly, then left. He returned with a check (with obscenities on it) and concealed knives. He has mental problems, his bill was not "padded." The owner, staff, and musicians are are devastated over this event. When something like this happens, people always look for others to blame. There was only one person to blame here.As far as over billing, I wouldn't take the word of an intoxicated person who can't keep track of their drinks or cash. I've never hear of a problem there.

Looks like his premeditated murder is or has been pled down to 2nd degree murder, but the 4 counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon have been changed to 2nd degree attempted murder (worse)... Not a Capitol offense anymore but will get life with no parole for sure. No insanity plea...even though he clearly is.
