Political operative and Broward County Commission aide Beverly Stracher has deep connections to the state's corruption investigation, but did she also serve as a pass-through for Ponzi schemer Scott Rothstein's political cash?

Now why would Stracher, a devout Democrat with longstanding ties to Mitch Ceasar and other disgraced party officials in Broward, give money to McCain? It would be like Ed Pozzuoli giving five G's to Barack Obama.
It makes no sense, until you remember that she was married to Rothstein's law partner, Les Stracher, who also gave big to the McCain and the Republican Party. It's obvious that Bev Stracher was just another straw McCain donor for Rothstein -- which is supposed to be illegal.
Which leads us to the really big question: Why haven't any of Rothstein's law partners -- who contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars into political campaigns via bogus bonuses -- been charged in that scheme yet?
It's one of the biggest campaign frauds in U.S. history -- are the feds really going to get a pass on the Rothstein political pass-throughs?
Inside, three more beautiful photographs from another political activist of the Fort Lauderdale moon over the Atlantic this weekend.
