Four Ways to Prepare Yourself for the Harry Potter Premiere

But just because you're not a nerd or a loyal Harry Potter fan (hey, some of us like Twilight too) doesn't mean you can't fit in tonight. You just need to make sure you prepare yourself for the onslaught of wizards and witches that will be floating down the theater aisles.
So heed our advice: Bone up on your Harry Potter trivia and check out our five tips after the jump.
1. Raid your Mom's closet (or pantry)You're going to need to assemble your outfit. Dig through the pile of forgotten goodies in the hall closet and grab yourself: a broomstick, pointed hat, and a wand.
Note: if you don't have an actual wand, any long stick will work.
2. Memorize the three unforgivable curses
Avada Kedavra (The Killing Curse): Chances are that your ex-boyfriend, girlfriend, or prison mate will be in the crowd. We're just saying, this could come in handy.
Crucio (Inflict great pain on the recipient): This also applies to the scenario above.
Imperio (causes the victim to do the bidding of the caster): Let's say you got really good seats but you really want some Twizzlers. Cast this curse and your boyfriend will get it for you!

3. Bone up on your Quidditch skills
Fans will be lining up for the premiere long before midnight. Keep yourself busy with your broomstick, and play a friendly game of Quidditch while you're waiting.
4. Read every single Harry Potter review and then argue with the writer
Hey, sometimes they just don't understand how awesome the series is.
