Update: The Miami Heat has decided it wants no part in the judging and therefore neither does LeBron James. This decision came because the event was coordinated without the team's input.
Want LeBron James to check you out? You may only need to write a poem. But that all depends on if he agrees.
LeBron's impending arrival is drawing nearer each day, and your excitement level depends on where you sit on the fan spectrum.
You might be a Heat fan who's stoked about the ultimate trio pounding down opponents on the court. Or you may be from Cleveland.
Either way, someone finally had the right idea to create a contest for the fans and the haters. WLRN Miami Herald radio wants you to send in a six-line poem by October 22.

The winner will receive two tickets to a Miami Heat game, get to read his poem live on-air, and read his poem during O, Miami, a citywide poetry festival in April.
Whether LeBron participates is entirely up to him.
"I sent him a Facebook message yesterday. Either way, the guest judge, who will pick the winner, will come from the Heat," said Dan Grech, radio news director for WLRN.
Grech also said they've already received more than 250 submissions, many of them from Cleveland.
Bring on the haters.
