• The best wings in South Florida are (were) found at "Keg South" in Kendall (Miami) across from Tamiami airport. Owned by a couple of pilots and staffed by locals, trained as flight attendants, boasted par fried, then grilled wings from hell!!! The cook (chef?) back then was named "Yorgi" maybe czech republic and he showed us the secret ingredient- spice from Thailand, not a lot, just a little. Now this goes back to the early 1990's, but we would have VP's fly into MIA from all over and call us at all hours to meet them at the "Keg". Nothing better since. I have met Debbie Wasserman Schultz and I was impressed, and in person I thought she was attractive. Her battle with BC makes her a hero with me as any other cancer survivor. Her politics - I don't know, but I know that job is a grind, best of luck to DWS.

Husband is terribly upset by now at slow service so goes to bar to pay bill and tells bartender why. He calls over manager/owner who proceeds to tell me that our server had a 40 person party in back room and that she and the other server who had helped us were supposed to be watching our table and that nobody else seemed to have had a problem. WTH, you have a 40 person party and tables out front too??? What is wrong with these people? We used to go to Rickey's a lot several years ago, quit going because service got so bad and also because food quality got iffy depending on when you were there. Went back a couple of months ago, it was okay, decided to go the other night when this happened. Will not be going back now for a while if ever after this especially since owner/manager does not seem to care how customers feel and they are so stupid about allowing servers to take on more than they can obviously handle. We were not trying to get out of paying our bill, hubby was paying at bar when manager came to our table to talk to me, just irritated that everything was taking so long and wanted to get out so we could finish up the rest of the things we had to do that evening.

• To be fair any online review can be written by anyone, including the competition. Every one in my family and extended family eats at Rickeys both in Hollywood and Plantation. The wings are great. And yes it is bar food and does not pretend to be anything else. For bar food it is one of the better wings.

Remember people it's our Congress that has to be overhauled and if Wasserman Shultz falls in that category then I must vote her out.
