Allen West Denies Gang Involvement

The Huffington Post reported Monday that West's campaign fired back. They claim the Outlaws do "not accept blacks, Jews or gays." While they might not initiate West as a "1%-er," or a brother who lives and breathes the Outlaw reputation, that doesn't stop him from having connections to the dangerous gang.

While there, he was photographed shaking the hands of motorcycle gang members connected to the Outlaws.
2. West's articles appear in a motorcycle magazine that advocates the Outlaws
West is a monthly contributor to the Sunrise-based "Wheels on the Road" motorcycle magazine, which advocates the Outlaws.

3. West defended the Outlaws when cautioned by a supporter
NBC reported that when West was cautioned by a supporter about his affiliation to the gang, he wrote back asking the supporter to limit use of the word criminal in reference to the group. He also said "I was never more amazed at how members of the Outlaws guarded me during an interview."
West's campaign is denying these claims by calling NBC's reporting a "political hatchet job by the liberal mainstream media."
The Outlaws have 16 chapters in Florida alone.
