Bible Says Nothing About Nudity Near Church Property, Yet Pompano Couple Is Shunned

• Holy cow, can you believe its been almost 10 years to this day. R.I.P. To everyone who died, it was a sad day. 9/11 was a very tragic day. It brought us together and made us closer than ever as a nation. All of the brave men and women who helped in the enormous rescue attempt, I salute each and every one of you. There were over 2000 innocent people who died that day, that still gives me the chills thinking about it. Men and women died, to save the lives of others. Over 300 firefighters, dead. • This article doesn't represent any kind of decent reporting. Naturist Christians stands opposed to all kinds of actions as the reporter has mentioned. Tom Frances, the reporter, did try to call me while I was in the hospital with my wife who was undergoing surgery. I immediately tried to return his call (on more than one occasion) and only got to a message system. He further states that there was no answer on the phone number filed on our forms with the State. The reports to the State of Florida do not provide for a listing of a telephone number. What kind of reporting is this when a reporter goes to press without even checking out any facts. Michael Thompson resigned from the corporation. He had been having marital problems and had been elected to the board at an annual meeting several years ago which was held at Sunsport (Naturist) Resort outside of Palm Beach. Mike's sudden resignation has caused some problems as he removed the ability of every other moderator for the Naturist Christians website from to make any changes. We have finally been able to get through these problems and some major changes will be made to what Michael Thompson, a youth pastor in Pontiac, MI had made. I had known Michael Thompson for about ten years when he had a teen aged Christian naturist site. Michael was aware of all activities of the corporation and was active in attempting to cause us to develop a resort in the midwest stating that that had been his dream. • Shhhheshh there ya go again, being short sighted yet once more, Sweetheart.Religion is the primary means of social control. Without it, we'd fall into social anarchy. Unfortunately few folks have ascended Maslow's hierarchy of needs, have progressed thru Kohlberg's stages of moral development or have mastered Erickson's stages of psychological and emotional development. Not sure why the author of this blog post decided to bring religion into an issue that involves drunken vagrants who trespass onto private property where they had no business being (i.e., not members of that church). Also important to mention that particular church property operates a daycare and preschool, and these 2 people were caught having sex in the middle of the day in plain view. Finally, the church property in question is NOT a part of whatever that naturist church organization is.

• One final note... Western civilization may have been "built" on Judeo-Christian values (at least the "don't kill" and "don't steal" parts), but we have become a modern society and have adopted the scientific way of thinking. While the aforementioned values have indisputable merits, maintaining the dogma in its entirety is no longer necessary, especially when we consider the violence and segregation it has caused throughout the ages. Furthermore, philosophically speaking, Christian ethics are severely outdated. Since the Enlightenment, the Western World has seen far superior ethicists to Jesus of Nazareth. Kant and Mill, for example, created life-affirming ethical systems that can be applied to a wider range of people without destroying their culture or beliefs about where the universe came from and what kind of sex they should consider perverse. Truly, there is no reason to cling to the old way any longer. We have adopted science and reason in every other aspect of our lives... yet somehow we have retained Bronze Age ethics? It makes no sense. Why should we continue to believe it is better to be tribalists than to be humanists? This mentality is not compatible with a just, egalitarian society. Besides, Jesus may tell us to love one another, but he also says we should maintain the Old Testament in its entirety - no cherry-picking - which means we technically must condone rape, incest, slavery, and genocide (!). If we can do away with these parts (and we have), why not do away with the whole thing? From CL
