Two Latest Animal-Related Problems = One Perfect Solution

​Black bears are invading the suburbs. And the Broward Sheriff's Office Broward County parks officials are trying to find places for the five horses they just laid off.

Fate can't make it much more obvious than this: Black bear horseracing must happen in South Florida.

I know this probably isn't legal, but now that Florida's greatest friend of the pari-mutuels, Steve Geller, has more time on his hands, maybe he will lobby for the cause.

This reminds me of another bunch of Bears who wanted to feel the thrill of competition. Let them race! Let them race!
